3D Printing

In third grade, the girls have started to learn how to use a MacBook in order to learn the basics of TinkerCAD.  Tinkercad allows the user to create 3D designs.  The girls have learned how to add shapes to the workspace, resize and move shapes, group shapes, and change colors in order to create the base for a cartouche.  Once the base is complete, students will use what they have learned in social studies to add her name or initials in hieroglyphics.  When that is complete, students will learn how to use the XYZ DaVinci software as well as the basics 3D printing and safety in order to print our her own cartouche!
