Playing with the parachute

The girls in first grade are having a great time in PE.  They recently completed their parachute unit.  They loved running under the parachute, playing "cat and mouse," popping balls off the parachute and having a "campfire."  The parachute unit helps the girls with upper body strength, spatial awareness, following directions, and cooperation.
